Are you an Asian family living in the Derby City Area?

Does a child in your family have an additional need or disability and is aged 0-19 years?

The Bilingual Project is here to help Asian families and to empower them by

• providing face to face communication
• coordinating a support group for parents/carers
• expanding culturally appropriate services within the Umbrella Organisation
• identifying specific needs
• overcoming cultural and language barriers
• family support
• helping families to access the support group
• support group

At the support group the parents choose what they would like within the support group and we (the staff) organize the activities, wherever possible. We are always looking for volunteers especially with bilingual skills.
